Plugin: GMapFP

Description

This plugin enables you to insert elements (one by one or by a selection on one or several categories) from GMapFP in your Newsletters.

You can also use this plugin to automatically include the newly created elements in an Auto-newsletter.

You can search in all your items and then click on one of the items to include it in your Newsletter.

If you own one of our commercial versions, you can download this plugin from our download area then install and publish it like a standard Joomla plugin.

The elements will look like this by default, and you can of course fully customize the way it is displayed:

Single article

You can use this interface to browse and insert any item in your Newsletter.

Each item can be selected one by one.

  • Display: Select the information you want to insert in your newsletter

  • Clickable Title: make the title clickable (so linked to your online version) or not.

  • Truncate the text...: Truncate the description or not

  • Display pictures: You can decide to display or not the pictures in your Newsletter or resize them

Categories

You can select one or several categories and AcyMailing will automatically include the new items from the selected categories.

  • Columns: You can decide to display the items on one or more columns

  • Max. number of items: The inserted tag will be replaced by a maximum of X items.

  • Min. number of items: This option will only be displayed if you access this plugin for a Smart-Newsletter. AcyMailing will only generate your Smart-Newsletter if the minimum number of items found is reached.

  • Order by: order the items by id, title, etc...

  • Filter: This option will only be displayed if you access this plugin for a Smart-Newsletter. You can choose to insert only newly created items.

Parameters

  • Custom template: You can create a custom plugin template using this button

  • Display articles: This parameter enables you to filter the list of items in the tag system

    • All locations: AcyMailing will display all your items

    • Only published locations: AcyMailing will only display your published items

  • Front-end Access: You can limit the access to this plugin on the Front-end

Customize your element template

You can change the styles used for the articles title and the items area by editing the styles in your AcyMailing template.

You can also modify the way your article is displayed by creating your own template which will be used to render the file. Please follow those instructions, we don't recommend you to modify the plugin directly otherwise your changes will be overwritten when you update AcyMailing.

Create the custom template as explained here, on the created file you can access to the element $varFields that contains all the needed data.

You can display:

  • The item's Id: {id}

  • The item's name: {nom}

  • The description: {intro}

  • The image: {imageHTML}

  • The url of your item: {link}

Using all those variables, you can create your own template, for example:
