This add-on allows you to insert file descriptions into your emails.

This add-on is available with the Essential version.

Insert file descriptions in an email

One by one

• Content to insert: The listed files are ordered by ID or creation date last to first. You can search on file names and select a specific category.

• Display: You can choose which element of your file you want to insert, add the file link and more.

• Format: You can choose how you want to display the inserted file. It uses the title, image and description, then any other information will be displayed bellow.

• Pictures: Choose whether to display the pictures. You can automatically resize them to a specific size.

• Clickable title: You can choose to add a link to the file on its title.

• Clickable image: If switched on and the image is displayed, a link to the inserted file page will be added on it.

• Truncate the text: You can choose to limit the number of characters that will be displayed for the description.

• Custom view: You can edit the view of the files that you insert

By category

If you select "By category", you will be able to insert multiple files at a time.

• Content to insert: You can insert files of one or more categories, or all files if you don't select anything

• Display: You can choose which element of your files you want to insert, add the files links and more.

• Format: You can choose how you want to display the inserted files. It uses the title, image and description, then any other information will be displayed bellow.

• Alternate: If you activate this option, each inserted file will be mirrored with the previous one for the main picture position. Formats with a picture taking the entire width are not affected.

• Pictures: Choose whether to display the pictures. You can automatically resize them to a specific size.

• Clickable title: You can choose to add a link to the file on its title.

• Clickable image: If switched on and the image is displayed, a link to the inserted file page will be added on it.

• Truncate the text: You can choose to limit the number of characters that will be displayed for the description.

• Order by: By default, files are sorted by creation date

• Min. publishing date: Only the files published after the specified date will be inserted. This can be useful when wanting to insert every recent file of a category without having to select them one by one.

• Columns: You can insert for example 2 files per row in your email

• Column horizontal padding: Allows you to adjust the horizontal padding between 2 columns

• Column vertical padding: Allows you to adjust the vertical padding between 2 columns

• Max.number of elements: This is the maximum number of files inserted in your email

The two next options are only shown when used in a campaign sent automatically (in the "Send settings" step)

• Only newly created: If turned On, it will only insert files that have been created since the last time a campaign has been generated.

• Min. number of elements: If the number of files you specify isn't reached, a campaign won't be generated by your "automatic" campaign

Settings

The add-on settings are available in the AcyMailing menu named "Add-ons", click the black gear on your add-on card.

• Custom view: replace the layout of the inserted content in your emails

• Front-end access: this option lets you restrict the access to this add-on in the frontend campaign management
